Yulia Luisi-Levin is an internationally active music and language coach who has worked with leading opera houses and festivals worldwide. Since 2010 she has been a Solo Repetiteur at the Opernhaus Zürich, where she also performs as pianist and Russian language coach. She has collaborated with conductors such as Fabio Luisi, Teodor Currentzis and Daniele Rustioni, and has assisted in productions including Wagner’s Das Rheingold, Prokofiev’s The Gambler and Eötvös’ Three Sisters.
A regular guest at the Salzburg Festival since 2017, she has served as study director and accompanist for several major opera projects. Born in Moscow, she studied in Moscow, Toronto and New York and previously worked at the Los Angeles Opera.
