Dan Li

Belgian violinist Li Dan is Professor of Violin at the Xinghai Conservatory of Music in Guangzhou. She studied violin and chamber music at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Belgium after completing her undergraduate studies at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.

She has performed internationally as a soloist, chamber musician and orchestral leader, working with ensembles including I Fiamminghi and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra of Belgium, and has recorded for labels such as TELARC and EMI.

An active pedagogue and competition juror, Li Dan has trained numerous prize-winning violinists whose achievements include top prizes at major international competitions and admissions to leading conservatories in Europe and the United States.
